People find it hard to believe that pit bulls are very gentle animals who want nothing but love. Pit bulls weren’t always known as vicious dogs that indiscriminately attack people and other animals. Back then, pit bulls were known to be the perfect family dogs. People even called pit bulls as America’s nanny dog.
A dad and his daughter named Bill and Kylie actively advocates for pit bulls. However, before Bill and Kylie became pit bull advocates, Bill wasn’t sure about getting a pit bull for his daughter, Kylie. When Kylie was a small child, she was bitten by a dog.
Kylie came face to face with a dog, and when she tried hugging the dog, the dog bit her face. Bill was concerned that his daughter would develop a fear with dogs. So, Bill figured that the best way to help Kylie was to adopt a dog and show her that dogs are loving animals, and her incident with a dog was only an accident.
Bill called animal control and asked what type of dog he should get for his daughter. The animal control officer told Bill that he should get a pit bull. Bill couldn’t believe what he was hearing but decided to trust the animal control officer and got a pit bull named Mojo.
Mojo proved to be the most amazing dog for Kylie. Mojo was loving, affectionate, and was never aggressive. Mojo helped Kylie realize that pit bulls are gentle dogs. Since then, Kylie grew fond of pit bulls. Sadly, Mojo passed away after many years of giving love to his family.
Bill and Kylie were devastated when Mojo passed away. Also, during Kylie’s junior year in high school, her mom passed away. Kylie desperately needed a friend to help her get through her loss. Kylie and her dad, Bill, decided that it was a perfect time that they adopt another pit bull.
Bill and Kylie decided to adopt a pit bull named Beau. Like Mojo, Beau is a very affectionate pit bull who is always by Kylie or Bill’s side. Beau doesn’t know anything about personal space and would often rest his head next to Kylie or Bill and give them gentle doggie kisses. Beau also doesn’t know how big he is and would always try to sit on his sister or dad’s lap every chance he gets.
Beau is a rescue dog who used to be a stray on the streets of New York. Despite his history, Beau doesn’t have a single bad bone in his body. He’s never aggressive, and he’s always giving love to everyone who meets him. As pit bull owners, Bill and Kylie would always tell people how amazing pit bulls are when they hear them say something negative about pit bulls.
Beau made Kylie and Bill’s world whole again. After Kylie’s mom passed away, Beau came at the perfect time and brought life back to Bill and Kylie. Here’s an adorable video showing Kylie and her dad showing how loving pit bulls are and are encouraging people to adopt rescue pit bulls like Beau.
