This Big Dog Thinks She’s Still A Puppy, So She Sleeps On Top Of Her Sister!

This Big Dog Thinks She’s Still A Puppy, So She Sleeps On Top Of Her Sister!

Bridget Kimpton November 25, 2020

What’s not to like about puppies? They’re cute, affectionate, and cuddly little creatures. Sometimes, they’re also mischievous, but we forgive them quickly because they always know how to make us smile.

Interestingly, certain breeds think they’re still puppies even if they already grow bigger. Meet Trixie, a big dog who still thinks she’s a baby!

It all started when Jennifer Lewis adopted her so that their other dog, Frannie, will have a companion. Although they’re different in size, Frannie accepted Trixie and never felt jealous. She took to her new sibling instantly, and the two canines formed a special bond. They have a fantastic relationship, and nothing can keep them apart.

Trixie’s a very affectionate pup, so she always wants to snuggle with her older sister. Frannie, on the other hand, didn’t mind the younger dog’s boundless energy and clinginess. It makes them happy each time they get closer to each other. They always eat, play, and even sleep together.

As Frannie and Trixie grow older, they remain close, and you’ll rarely see them apart. However, Frannie’s smaller than Trixie now, and since the latter thinks she’s still a tiny pup, she would crawl on top of her sister and sleep there just like when she’s younger.

Jennifer took photos of them sleeping together and posted them on Facebook, which garnered over 19,000 likes! It impresses Jennifer that Frannie’s very patient with her little sister, even if she has to bear with her heaviness. Frannie remains gentle even if she has to move when she wants to change her position.

Jennifer shares that these two’s daytime naps consist of sleeping on the couch together, but they would sleep on their mom’s bed at night. They’re always treated like family members, and wherever they sleep, Trixie continues to sleep on top of her sister.

Frannie and Trixie always have each other’s back — literally and figuratively! Jennifer admits that she spoils her two dogs a lot. No matter what happens, these two pups will have a strong bond that will last a lifetime.
