We can never fully explain a dog’s behavior, but we can say this – they usually act what they feel. It’s one of their strengths but unfortunately, it’s one of their weaknesses too.
Take this hilarious doggo named Hank. We will never know why he ran away from his loving mom like that, but he did. We’d find out why, but we don’t speak dog.
This responsible fur mom set out to look for her pet, just like any good parent would. Someone must have tipped her where her doggo was, so she went to fetch him.
As soon as his owner’s car came into view, Hank could be seen running towards it. Mom began filming the whole event, and we’re thankful she captured it all on video.
Hank was obviously delighted to see his mom, but when she asked him to get in the backseat, he hesitated. That neighbor must have had a good stack of jerky for this doggo to want to stay.
Mom repeatedly called her dog, and you could see that the pet was conflicted. Hank wanted to obey and be a good boy but he obviously liked something at the neighbors so much that he hesitated.
Hank’s owner had to hoist him up by his collar to get him inside the car. Even then, Hank still wiggled to get out and away. The frustrated owner couldn’t help but set the camera down to hold her pet.
The combined looks on their faces were hilarious. Mom bore the look of a long-suffering one, and Hank with a curious and innocent expression.
We’re relieved that Hank was in great condition and was well taken care of by the good neighbor. We hope that mom found a way to keep her pet home this time.
Otherwise, she might just have to get used to the idea of running to the neighbors every once in a while.
