Gregoiré Sinclair Martin has always wanted to have a Chihuahua ever since she could remember. However, her husband, Sheridan Oliver, is afraid of small dogs and does not like being anywhere near them.
Sheridan loves Gregoiré so much, so he eventually gave up and went to the shelter with his wife to pick up a Chihuahua named Pickles. Gregoiré recalled that Sheridan almost drove off the road because he kept staring at their newly-adopted dog, thinking he would get bitten anytime.
However, Pickles proved to be nothing but a sweetheart because she instantly clung onto Sheridan from the moment they met. Gregoiré said that she barely got to hold Pickles during the ride because her husband was attached to Pickles the whole time.
Sheridan admitted that he was not expecting Pickles to be so cute. He recalled instantly melting as soon as Pickles looked at him during their first car ride home together from the shelter, and he immediately went on to tell her wife that Pickles is their dog with great emphasis.
Gregoiré recalled that when she and Sheridan got home with Pickles, Pickles instantly sat down on the couch with her husband. The two became stuck in their little world, with Sheridan even grabbing the blanket from Gregoiré so he could wrap pickles up with it.
Gregoiré shared that Pickles’ obsession with warm blankets started when she placed one sheet fresh off the dryer on the couch. Pickles instantly hopped on it, buried herself in it, claimed it as hers, and Sheridan just watched his dog in amazement and even wrapped her in like a burrito.
Sheridan said that his perception of small dogs changed when he met Pickles because he did not think she would be sweet and loving. Gregoiré shared how glad she was that Sheridan gave Pickles a chance.
