A lot of dogs are saved from being euthanized when someone comes around and adopts them. Countless animal lives can be potentially saved if people started looking for pets scheduled to be put down. The following story sets an example of how families can save dogs on death row.
A woman named Toni was looking for dogs online when her daughter saw a tragic advertisement. A dog named Rosie was up for adoption but only had a limited time. If she didn’t get adopted, the shelter had to put her down.
Toni’s daughters, MacKenna and Kerrigan, were very concerned about Rosie. One of them even cried because they didn’t want this dog to die. When Toni went on the website again, she and her daughter saw Rosie was no longer available for adoption.
MacKenna and Kerrigan thought that Rosie had been euthanized. However, it turns out that Toni was surprising her daughters. The rest of the family had no idea that Rosie was being transported to them.
When Rosie arrived, she was very stressed and confused. The dog had lost her family and didn’t know where she belonged anymore. Fortunately, the mood changed when Toni brought her to meet her daughters.
MacKenna and Kerrigan couldn’t contain their emotions upon meeting Rosie. They were moved to tears and hugged their mom. Of course, they showered their new dog with hugs as well.
The family already had a dog named Ziggy. He was unsure how to react to Rosie at first. However, the two dogs became buddies quickly.
Rosie was got along with the daughters without any problems. They believe she’s the sweetest and most amazing dog they had. The sisters believe that the best part about having Rosie is everything. They could no longer imagine life without their new dog.
