A two-year-old pooch named Leo has been winning hearts all over the Internet with his silly antic of pressing his snout just about everywhere he could. But things weren’t really as funny as now since his fur parents were definitely worried when they first saw him doing that. They actually thought that Leo might be suffering from brain damage.
Christine Holierhoek, a 27-year-old nursing student from the Netherlands, first met Leo on a farm when he was just a puppy. She was at a very low point in her life at that time and she thought a dog could help her get back outside again. When she entered the barn, Leo’s blue eyes stared directly at her and without hesitation, he ran straight to her and jumped.
Leo was the first ever puppy who jumped at Christine and it was just like love at first sight for her. He was just so sweet and she knew that he was the dog she was looking for. And just like Leo who did not hesitate to go to her, Christine did the same and took him home.
But things started a bit worrisome when Christine and her boyfriend Remi started to crate-train Leo. They started noticing that he would fall asleep with his snout pressed against the bars. Since they didn’t think it was normal, the couple started reading on some articles about it and that was when they discovered that Leo’s habit can be a sign of a bad health.
Christine decided to take Leo to the vet and have him checked just to make sure. After a couple of hundred of euros spent, the vet had a very hilarious news for them. As it turned out, Leo was healthy as a horse and pressing his snout was just one of his silly antics. And now, it also became Leo’s signal like for example, he would press his snout against the sofa when he wants to nap or against the door if he wants to go out.
Christine was definitely relieved that Leo was healthy and was actually just a giant silly floofball. And because of that silly antic, Leo has also won a lot of fans at TikTok alongside his two Bengal cat siblings Mowgli and Bagheera.
