Man Goes Into Well To Save Dog

Man Goes Into Well To Save Dog

Bridget Kimpton June 15, 2019

There is rarely anyone who would spend time in rescuing a stray animal, let alone rappel into a deep well to do so. A stray dog fell down the well and was struggling. A couple of men prepared equipment to help out the dog.

They could see that the dog was doing the best he can to stay above water. It was dangerous to leave the dog behind so they did everything they could to get him. One of the men strapped a harness around himself and went down the well.

There was no way of going back up; that’s where he needed to rappel down. When the man first approached the dog, the animal was scared at first. The man tried to earn the dog’s trust, but the dog was still hesitant.

So the man removed his gloves so the dog can sniff him and trust him more. The man also prepared a net that he can use to capture the dog. The man was very careful not to scare the animal away.

With the man’s circumstance where he was floating in dirty water, he was very patient just to help the dog out. The dog slowly walked to the net, and that’s when he was able to catch him.

They immediately pulled him out of the well and moved him away from it so they can safely release him. This was one rescue where one can say that the rescuers are very impressive. What they did was not easy to save a stray, but they did it anyway.

The men did what they could to save a dog’s life. They also put their lives at stake to make sure that the dog is safe. If only people were this considerate, there would be more lives that can be saved.
