When dogs ask for a thing from their fur parents, they’ll keep asking for that object until they have it. Even if they need to pester their humans for some time, canines won’t mind so long as they achieve their goal.
Thus, a dachshund asking for belly rubs from its fur parent yaps incessantly to get his attention. Such a tactic works as the doggo catches human attention with its barking spree.

In this amusing video clip, a brown dachshund named Fynnley lies on a furry dog bed. At first, you’ll think Fynnley’s trying to prep for an afternoon nap.
But, instead of snoozing away, the dachshund looks directly in the fur parent’s direction and barks at him. Fynnley even stretched his body while yapping to further get his hooman’s attention.
And, when fur parent finally looks at Fynnley, he cranes his head closer and barks to ask for a belly rub. As if this gesture wasn’t enough, the pooch plucked back on his furry mattress to emphasize his point further.

But, as fur parent finds Fynnley’s yapping amusing, he doesn’t immediately jump into action. Noticing that his human is merely looking at him, the impatient dachshund whines, hoping for a response.
Yet, when fur parent still doesn’t agree to his whims, Fynnley lets out another series of yapping and stretching on the mattress. On and on, the clingy dachshund goes until he lies belly on his bed to catch a breath.
