Winston and Mijo are Lindsay Golden and Sarah Moore’s two lovable pets. One day, the family visited another family living in a mountainous region of Evergreen, Colorado. But they never expected that the place posed some dangers to animals who lived in homes.
The pet parents, Lindsay and Sarah, noticed their pets escaped through an open door. And worse, a mountain lion took Mijo. Such an experience was the worst scenario for the fur parents.
As Winston saw the danger, he chased after the lion, not thinking about his size. The mountain lion is big enough to kill them, but he aggressively barked. The lion dropped Mijo and ran away.
Sarah said the two dogs are best friends. It was not surprising that Winston did his best to save his friend. Despite the danger, Winston took the risk of saving Mijo.
The fight of wounded Mijo
As soon as the lion left, Sarah took Mijo and brought the wounded dog to the veterinarian. Mijo suffered wounds on his neck and scalp after the lion bit his head. The veterinarian recommended surgery and removed the eyes of the dog.
The dog survived the terrifying scenario, leaving him one-eyed. He’s such a fighter to endure the pain. Who would have thought Mijo would survive the deep scratches and wounds caused by the lion?
The paw’s parents set up a fund-raising campaign on GoFundMe for Mijo’s medical expenses. They were grateful to those who helped them and continuously helped their fund-raising activity: Mijo manifested seizures, a symptom of neurological damage.
Thus, the veterinarian requires keen monitoring and further observation. The pet’s parents hope for no other serious injury to Mijo’s brain. The dog is on his way to recovery but still needs frequent visits to the veterinarian.
Giving to the fund-raising campaign will help a lot with the medical expenses. A single penny you share can save a life.
