A black Labrador named Cole was recently filmed jumping into a stranger’s car. Michelle Logan’s the lucky stranger, and she shared her experience by uploading this clip on social media.
Michelle says it all started when she drove to work one day. She stopped to fix her car’s wiper somewhere in Petersburg, Virginia, and that’s when all this magic happened.
Michelle says she spotted two Retrievers, one golden, and one black. She gave the dogs a head pat, not knowing that it would encourage the black Labbie to jump into her car!
Cole was so friendly, and it was clear to Michelle that he liked making friends. He wagged his tail and must have felt so comfortable with Michelle that he decided to chill in her car.
Michelle didn’t know what to do, and for a good 20 minutes, she thought of what to do. Eventually, Michelle decided to drive into a nearby house to see if someone knew who Cole’s owner was.
With a stroke of luck, Michelle happened to ask Cole’s hooman grandparents! They told her that Cole lives across their property because the dog is their son’s.
Michelle was relieved that Cole wasn’t a stray. She got to meet Cole’s parents that day, and they thanked her for returning their furry pet. They kept in touch, with Cole’s mom often sending Michelle pics!
Dogs do influence us to live and love better, and Cole’s a good example. He may have cheekily started things, but the result was beautiful.
Michelle visited Cole again after some time, and he was there to ask for hugs and belly rubs! He was sure happy to see Michelle again.
It just goes to show that dogs will always jump at the opportunity to make friends, even if it means jumping into a stranger’s car!
