Cute And Adorable Trembling Puppies That Got A Second Shot At Life
Updated June 2026: I’ve been monitoring the latest trends in puppy adoption and care, and it’s heartwarming to see that 2024 has brought a significant surge in interest for mixed-breed puppies. This shift is largely attributed to awareness campaigns promoting adoption from shelters, which highlight the unique charm and health benefits of mixed breeds. Additionally, I’ve updated my insights on puppy training techniques, as 2025 has introduced engaging digital training resources that combine interactive apps with traditional methods, making it easier for new puppy owners to teach their adorable companions basic commands and social skills.
When we say puppies, the immediate words associated are cute, cuddly, playful, fun, and just perfect. Trimble and Twitch, our adorable pup siblings who refused to give up, are just the definite shot in the arm we need to get through any day!
Thanks to Christie, the volunteer-turned-foster-mom, these two are on track to the best second shot at life.
Cerebellar Hypoplasia
Christie first brought the pups to a vet, and there, they tested positive for cerebellar hypoplasia. It is a condition where an underdeveloped cerebellum sends multiple signals to the muscles to move, instead of just one, resulting in trembly and shaky movement.

We are happy to say that these involuntary muscle movements do not cause the wee ones any pain. They are merely unsteady on and off their feet. Christie says there are many causes of CH, but in Trimble and Twitch’s case, it was apparently because of malnutrition.
The mommy dog was always hungry throughout her pregnancy. She and the rest of Trimble and Twitch’s other siblings have found their furever homes, but Christie knew that it would be a more challenging story for the trembling two. So she took them in.

Complicated at first, Christie and her husband struggled in caring for the two pups. Not giving up, they taught both dogs how to eat, drink, and walk by themselves, she stood by her decision and were with them every step of the way! They even built Trimble a wheelchair!
Currently, Twitch can walk on his own, but Trimble needs a little more care. No worries, though; their loving fur parents will always be there for them!
Trembling or not, these pups show us that in any challenging situation, a little love and care goes a long way. Here’s to a beautiful life, Trimble and Twitch!
