Kids and dogs are just like peanut butter and jelly – they make a great combination! If you’ve ever had a canine and a little one living together, you’d know that they can be amusing to watch since they can entertain each other for hours.
As proof of how great dogs and kids get along, here’s a precious video of a five-month-old baby boy playing with his German Shepherd sister. A little piece of advice though – prepare yourselves as this video is loaded with cuteness!
We’re fortunate that Daniel Colvin has shared some sweet moments of his precious baby boy playing with their furry dog, Freyja. As seen in this cute video, Daniel’s baby is holding one of Freyja’s toys which is a soft green pig. Freyja tries to grab a hold of it while it is still in the baby’s hand. But being the gentle giant pooch that she is, she makes sure not to hurt him.
It is too evident that Freyja adores her new baby brother, but it seems she knows that he isn’t ready yet to play with the green pig on his own. So she thinks of another idea to entertain the baby.
When the pooch gets complete control over the green toy, she starts whipping it around while it is still in her mouth. She happily whips it while making sure that she isn’t that close to her baby brother. The baby boy then stares at her in delight and starts giggling while attempting to grab the toy.
Notice that their playtime resembles a game of tug of war. But since the boy is still tiny, Freyja knows that she should be in control without hurting him. She continues to sway the green pig over and over again to a delightful round of squeals and giggles. Of course, you can sense that behind the camera, Daniel is proudly watching how his two babies interact in the most precious way!
