Having a new baby can mean having to adapt. The baby needs things and he cannot help himself just yet. That is why parents have to be aware of what their baby needs. It can mean interrupted sleep just to feed to change the baby.
Many parents can get overwhelmed by their responsibilities and would seek help from other people. They can get help from other relatives or maybe from a nanny. But sometimes, angels can come in the form of the family dog.
This is Zach and Sara’s story. They have become parents for the very first time and they were amazed at how Prince, their beloved dog, has been helping them out take care of the baby.
When Sara was pregnant, Prince was excited. He was protective of Sara and the couple knew that when the baby came out, Prince would be there for her. They also knew that the dog would protect the baby.
Some parents slowly introduce the baby to the family dog. However, in Zach and Sara’s case, this wasn’t needed. Prince was in love with the Halle, the new baby. He was always there to watch over her and, as much as possible, he would not leave her side.
The parents knew that Prince and Halle had a connection. Each day, they were more in love with each other. They would spend lots of time together playing and even just napping.
When Halle became a toddler, she had a problem sleeping alone in her room. So when she woke up in the middle of the night, she would cry and call her parents.
It was a good thing that Prince has a keen sense of hearing. He knows when Halle is awake and he would rush to her side. Watch the video below and see how Prince is quick to become Halle’s nanny during the night when her parents are asleep.
