Dog Reunites With Real Masters After Three Years

Dog Reunites With Real Masters After Three Years

Bridget Kimpton September 17, 2019

What if a supposed happy day for a couple turned out to be gloomy, especially if their beloved pooch will be lost during this day? A couple from Wyoming sure knows how this feels.

With nothing else but an official trip outside of their residence, BJ and Jennifer George fled to Burlington to meet someone. They brought with them their dog named Ginger. Ginger is a typical dog who loves to wander and discover things.

Since the place is kind of far from their residence, the couple decided to rent a place where they could stay. BJ, as a busy person, had to meet a client during this time. When they finally booked a room, Jennifer and her dog, Ginger, entered the temporary resting place while Jennifer prepared their things.

This is the time when the pooch decided to wander around the area and fled. Jennifer taught the dog was just around, so she did not mind. But she was mistaken because soon enough, she realized that Ginger was already missing.

We have an amazing update to share on this dog….In August of 2015, a man was working at the fertilizer plant in…

In an interview, Jennifer mentioned that Ginger was her mom’s pet when the latter was still alive. When her mom died, she took Ginger under her custody because no one would take good care of the pooch except her mom.

The first thing Jennifer did after learning about her dog’s missing is to look for Ginger around the area. She even asked the help of the people around the vicinity, but all her efforts proved futile.

Jennifer then decided to stay to look for the dog. At first, she was too eager to find the dog, but fatigue and negativity started to take their toll on her. This left her nothing else but acceptance that her beloved pooch might be gone for good.

She went home with a heavy heart. Three years after the incident, Jennifer received a phone call. It was from Kandi Glick, the director of the Des Moines County Regional Humane Society, who told Jennifer that Ginger might be the dog under their custody.

While she was skeptic about it, Jennifer and her wife drove to the said shelter, and soon after confirmed that it was indeed their dog, Ginger. Jennifer cried and hugged the pooch. Ginger was still able to recognize her master.
