Fun-Loving Doggo Engages Duck Friend In A Lively Game

Fun-Loving Doggo Engages Duck Friend In A Lively Game

Bridget Kimpton July 16, 2021

It’s not really unusual for most of us to see dogs play with an animal of a different species. Even if they don’t talk the same way, canines still find a way to interact and even play games with them.

Thus, one playful Boxer happily engages in a lively chasing game with its duck friend. And, though the duck doesn’t back down from their impromptu game, the pup gaily responds to its teasing to continue playing.

Hey, catch me!

In this fun and amusing video footage, a camera focuses on the grassy area of the lawn. But, it looks like the person holding the device’s searching for something as it pans the camera out.

Soon enough, one can see a curious pair of animals standing across each other. One of the animals’ a mix-furred Boxer named Calvin, while the brown-feathered duck is Mrs. Duckworth.

At first, you’ll think Calvin and Mrs. Duckworth hold a lively conversation together. But, it looks like the playful pup has other plans as he soon attempts “biting” the duck’s neck.

Oh no, I’ll catch you!

But, ever the alert fowl, Mrs. Duckworth evades the Boxer’s sudden attack. Yet, Calvin isn’t one to easily back down as he soon resumes making the said move, further riling the duck.

Hence, Mrs. Duckworth starts retaliating with a flurry of pecks. With each attempt that Calvin makes, the duck triples the number of pecks she gives the doggo as a warning.

But, Calvin refuses to relent and carries on with his teasing. Thus, the irked Mrs. Duckworth dashes to another corner of the garden hoping that Calvin will leave her alone.

But, Calvin’s intent to continue playing with Mrs. Duckworth as he resumes sniffing on the duck’s neck. How do you think the duck responded? Find out what happens next to the fun game the canine and duck play in the footage linked below.
