Fritz is not only the name of an adorable Labrador mix dog, but it’s also descriptive of how the pup felt the day his owner took him to the dentist. The now-viral video shows the Labrador was a bit “on the fritz” after his teeth cleaning.
Bret Mortimer of Salt Lake City, Utah, had heard that her dog could contract a disease if he didn’t get his teeth cleaned properly by a professional. Worried about her two and a half-year-old pet’s health, the Utah woman decided to schedule an appointment with the veterinarian.
Every day, Bret takes Fritz to the park. The Labrador happily hopped into the car, thinking they were on their way to play. Well, poor Fritz was probably a bit surprised when they ended up at the doggy dentist! When Bret picked her Labrador up from the vet, he had spent all day having his teeth cleaned, and he was not happy.
In this hilarious video, Fritz is sulking big time on the drive home after his teeth cleaning. The Labrador won’t acknowledge his owner at all! Bret said she knew something was a bit off when she picked up Fritz from the vet. She didn’t think he was angry at her, but she felt he was definitely ticked. Bret decided to share this funny video on Twitter, where it quickly received over a million views.
Bret moves the camera around to try and grab Fritz’s attention, but the Lab is making clear he is ignoring her for the ride home. Bret said she thinks her video went viral so quickly because it’s so relatable. After the pair returned home, Fritz forgave his owner, and they shared a nice walk.
