Many dogs often wander into places that they should never go to. Often, it results in mishaps that can endanger the dog’s life. Thankfully, there are quite a lot of compassionate people out there who will do everything and even risk their own lives to save a dog’s life.
Five men in Almaty, Kazakhstan happened to be at the right place at the right time. While walking near the Sairan Reservoir, the five men witnessed a dog fall into the water reservoir. The strong water current swept the dog away but was able to get on its feet near the edge.
The dog can’t get out of the reservoir since the side was too steep. It was only a matter of time when the dog will get too exhausted to resist the strong flow of water. Thankfully, the five friends near the reservoir spotted the dog and decided to act fast.
The brave owner of the stranded pooch went down into the reservoir to get his dog. The owner slowly approached his dog and grabbed him by the neck and then dragged him to the water’s edge. The man, with the dog in tow, inched his way to the edge of the reservoir.
Unfortunately, the wall was too steep for the man to climb back up with his dog. Thankfully, five brave men formed a human chain by linking their hands together and carefully slid down the steep concrete slope. The men on the edge of the human chain grabbed onto the dog owner and the dog owner quickly pulled the dog up to the other rescuers until the dog reached safety.
Eventually, the men pulled each other back up to safety. The frightening experience would have ended in tragedy if it wasn’t for the brave souls who banded together to save the dog’s life.
