Everyone has a soft spot for someone, even this grumpy old dog named Bruno. Bruno is thirteen years old and seems not to like anybody. According to his mom, Alicia Bailey, he does not even like being picked up or being held.
He would nibble or bite anyone who does but the bite doesn’t hurt though. It seems to be a warning bite for anyone not to hold him again. He doesn’t even seem to like his siblings especially the white dog, Sesame. Yes, this is one grumpy old chihuahua.
Even with his constant dislike for the people, his siblings, and the world, he seems to have a soft spot for his new baby brother, Boogie. Boogie is the wobbly one in the family and Bruno does not mind spending time with him.
Boogie was dropped off at a shelter and he was the smallest dog. He only weighed about twelve ounces. Alicia has never seen such a tiny dog.
Boogie is special as he has cerebellar hypoplasia. This means that he will just be a little wobbly when he stands or walks. Alicia was supposed only to foster Boogie, but after a few weeks with him, she knew that they could not let him go so she decided to adopt him.
It is more difficult for dogs with special needs to find a home, but Boogie is fortunate enough to see his. Alicia now has a total of four dogs and is very glad to have each and every one of them- including Bruno.
Alicia is just thankful that with Bruno’s grumpiness, he is able to get along with Boogie. She is also grateful that Boogie gets to stay with them and not with another family. The wobbly little guy completed Alicia’s little family.
