With the decrease in adoption rates, animal shelters go out of their way to help these dogs get adopted in an instant. While some attempts are odd and offbeat, others were barely overlooked. Not until the Wichita Falls Animal Services’ recent post went viral.
The fascinating photo was all about an adoptable Husky named Sky beside the shelter’s newest employee, Zackry Majewski. Accordingly, this post created a social media frenzy because of Zackry. As a matter of fact, because of his good looks, adopters were overly increasing in this shelter to this date.
As per the staff, the advertisement was aimed at finding a forever home for their beautiful girl Sky. But instead of doing it via the conventional way, a good-looking man was involved in the post to grab people’s attention. That’s why apart from the pup’s details, the gorgeous dog lover Zackry was also introduced in the said post.
As expected, most people fell for Zackry. While some were focused on Sky looking for a fur family, the majority turned to search for the handsome animal advocate. In short, he gained a lot of returns way more than the pup. Henceforward, animal adoptions increased through this scheme in no time.
Just as the world was interested to know more about Zackry, the shelter was outrageously flooded with adoption requests for the sweet Sky. And, within an hour, the sweet pup finally found her forever home.
Zackry admitted that he is not into social media gateways and that the photo taken was not of his liking. He is not a model. Nonetheless, if having his photo taken would mean more chances on the part of the shelter dogs to get adopted, he’d certainly be down for it. Indeed, an animal lover like Zackry would be of great help for shelter dogs in the coming days.
