Hunter, The Professional Shiba Inu Painter
There are lots of good dogs out there, but the one that you will read about is one talented pup. He is a professional painter who has earned thousands of dollars from his work.
Hunter is an adorable Shiba Inu who is now making waves in the field of arts. This talented pup from Alberta, Canada, has been creating amazing canvas after learning how to paint. His teachers? None other than his parents, Kenny Au and Denise Lo.
Kenny and Denise sell Hunterβs works on his Etsy store. So far, they have sold 150 paintings and earned over Β£3,800. Isnβt that quite an impressive achievement?
According to Kenny, they are so fascinated that each of Hunterβs paintings is unique. The pupβs brush strokes can get pretty creative, depending on his mood. Kenny further said that when Hunter uses heavier brushes, he usually makes a lot of dabs and checkmarks. On the other hand, the pup makes more loops and flicks when heβs using lighter brushes.
It was back in March 2017 when Hunterβs painting journey began. His parents taught him to paint for some mental enrichment. They also wanted some artwork that they could put on their walls.
After getting amazed at Hunterβs initial paintings, Kenny and Denise decided to let him continue making artworks. Usually, Hunter paints for about 10 to 15 minutes. This would often sell at about Β£43.
The couple is happy to see how everyone has been supporting Hunter for the past couple of years. They love reading letters from his fans and seeing the memes too. According to them, they feel that a lot of people could relate to their pupβs work.
Kenny and Denise are hoping that in the future, theyβll be able to donate some of the pupβs paintings to rescue organizations. They said that usually, animal and Shiba Inu lovers are the ones who enjoy Hunterβs artwork.
