The puppy was lying lifeless when she was born. Her brothers and sisters were all healthy except her. The owners could see that she was not breathing and knew that they needed to do something.
Waiting for a vet or anyone’s help might be too late. So the dad took it upon himself to try and save the puppy by giving it CPR. She was purple all over and needed immediate rescue.
The dad started by giving the puppy soft touches to stimulate movement. No signs of life yet. So he proceeded to give her a few breaths and still there was nothing.
The dad continued with the soft touches to stimulate and giving her a few more breaths. Then a miracle happened. She was showing signs of life. He even heard a cough come out from the little creature.
Words of encouragement were also always coming out from the dad’s mouth. The dad did not stop in giving the stimulations, and while he was doing so, the puppy’s mother was there watching over her daughter.
Those who love she surrounded this puppy. They knew that she was a fighter and would fight for her life. Though she was still having a hard time breathing, she still proved them right.
She was lifeless a few hours ago but is now breathing on her own. She is alive and wide awake! She is now able to latch on to her mother like her brothers and sisters.
For the family to be sure, she was taken to the vet the next day. She seems to be in full health and ready for what life has to bring. All thanks to her dad who was fast on his toes.
