James Xuereb of Guelph, Ontario, Canada is a devoted pet parent. He has been caring for his pets well and loves them to bits.
However, his two dogs Nemo and Lucy crossed the rainbow bridge three weeks apart. The dogs were already old and died because of congestive heart failure. This left James really sad. He was definitely affected by the unwanted death of the two pets.
Wanda, James’ wife, and Jaleen, his daughter, wanted him to experience happiness again and move on from the loss of his cherished dogs. They decided to give him a puppy as a birthday present.
On James’s birthday, Jaleen gave him a birthday card. It contained a note informing him that his birthday gift was on its way. When he opened the envelope, the front of the card had a photograph of a white puppy.
Jaleen then requested that his father read the card, but his father could only read the first line. He had already begun to cry since he knew he would soon have a new dog to love.
Lumo is the new dog’s name and it is a blend of the names of their previous pets, Lucy and Nemo. He is a Bichon Frise looked like it was ready to bring James lots of love and joy.
James could not stop crying when his daughter completed reading the card’s message.
The man could not stop cuddling Lumo once he had him in his arms. He was so excited to get a new dog to love and care for. Upon seeing Lumo, he knew in his heart that Lucy and Nemo had returned to his life.
James is prepared to love Lumo and make new memories with him.
