Great Danes are quite intimidating because of their massive size. They may be large, but ultimately they are still dogs that act like babies most of the time. Here is one such big baby:
In the clip taken by his owner, Max, the Great Dane is seen in his palatial home. He is with his other Great Dane buddy, Katie, looking excitedly at the pool. Well, it certainly sounds like a great idea seeing that the day is quite sunny.
Unlike other dogs, though, Max and Katie don’t hate the water. The pair actually loves chilling in the pool, casually dipping and sipping.
“What are you doing?” Max’s mom begins. “You know you can’t go swimming with your jacket on.”
In this particular video, Max is wearing something. He is wearing a jacket in his leg – a cover-up cloth that is worn by a dog to prevent them from scratching a stitch or wound. For that reason, Max needs to keep the jacket on, so he is not allowed to get wet.
The Great Dane obviously couldn’t care less about his wound as he started arguing back. The canine whined and gave in to child-like tantrums, eager to change his mom’s decision. However, since both of them are adamant, the fight continues in a repetitive cycle.
Max is deaf, but it appears that he can certainly understand his mom from observing her gestures. It is evident to him that she disapproves of him getting in the water so, despite his desire to get into the swimming pool, he is could only whine. After all, he understands that his mom only wants the best for him.
