Neglected Dog With A Large Tumor Is Freed And Rescued By Animal Rescuer From Neglectful Owner

Neglected Dog With A Large Tumor Is Freed And Rescued By Animal Rescuer From Neglectful Owner

Bridget Kimpton April 10, 2022

It’s infuriating to learn about people adopting dogs only to end up neglecting them and even physically abusing them. Even today, there are still a lot of people who adopt dogs for all the wrong reasons. Thankfully, there are lots of animal rescuers who go above and beyond to rescue these animals.

A man named Viktor Larkhill is one of the most well-known animal rescuers on YouTube. His work resulted in countless dogs getting rescued from abusive owners and eventually finding their forever homes with loving families. One of Viktor’s most memorable rescues is with a sweet Fox Terrier named Maria.

Maria had a rough start in life. She was kept chained in a junkyard her entire life and her owner never even gave her a name. Aside from that, she also suffered from a huge tumor. Maria’s owner clearly didn’t care for her.

Despite the horrific treatment she got from her owner, Maria would always wag her tail when she saw people approaching her. She remained sweet and loving even when she was already dying from neglect at the hands of her owner. When Viktor found her, she was already in so much pain when she was touched on the tumor that was growing on her back.

Viktor almost teared up as he freed Maria from her chains. Eventually, he brought her to his car where she started her freedom ride. Viktor took Maria to the animal hospital where she was thoroughly examined and where the heavy chains were removed from her neck.

Maria also got multiple surgeries to remove the tumors growing on her body. Despite physically draining her, she endured all of it and she had so many people around her that gave her love. A tumor was also discovered beside her heart, which was inoperable.

However, Maria lived with an amazing foster mom who pampered her and gave her all the love that she deserved up until the day she succumbed to her illness. Maria would have never known human love and kindness if it weren’t for Viktor and all the other people who cared for her. Here’s a link to the truly heartwarming video below the screenshots featuring Maria living the best life after getting freed from a heartless owner.
