Sometimes, it’s tough for rescued dogs to open up and have fun with life. They’ve been through so much that they just about gave up altogether.
Fortunately, there are still good hoomans in this world, so some of these dogs get a second shot at life. Just like this male Pitbull who was one of the lucky ones.
He was rescued from the streets, and it was tough to get him. It was a while before he started opening up again, thanks to his rescuers’ patience and nurturing.
It’s incredible how a little love and care transforms even the most hopeless cases. We’re stoked that this pittie finally understood that the rough part of his life was over.
His hoomans were adults, but they were a playful bunch. Dad gave him rubs and play-wrestled with him. When he got up to get something in the kitchen, the pet took the opportunity to do zoomies.
A little hop there, a wiggle here, and a huge leap back on the couch encouraged his hooman brother to play with him. Soon, hooman and pittie were play-lunging at each other.
We could tell that this pet loved the attention and the time given to him. His face was all smiles, and he just had that kind of light and happy energy around him.
Big hooman bro kept on lunging at the pet, and the pittie would retreat, then attempt a swipe at his sib. It went like this for a bit, and a lady in the background couldn’t help but giggle.
The pittie executed a huge jump from the couch to the floor and ran to another room. He was so fast that all we could see were his hind legs and tail.
