When a mountain rescue team heard about a pooch named Daisy who collapsed during a hike at Scafell Pike in England, they didn’t hesitate to bring out their best resources to save her life. These resources included a stretcher intended for humans and a strong team who was willing to carry the pup all the way down the mountain.
Daisy was treading her way down the mountain with her family after their hike when the pup suddenly felt dizzy and collapsed on the ground. This distressed Daisy’s family who immediately called in the designated rescue team at their location for assistance.
Without hesitation, the pack of rescuers started their hike to help the pup in need. Although all the stretchers they had were built for humans, they were focused on saving the pup’s life in any way they could.
Upon seeing Daisy, they were extremely cautious to let the pup know they helping her. They didn’t want the pup to feel anxious as she was already feeling terrible in her state, so they tried their best to calm her down. Thankfully, Daisy cooperated well with the rescuers and knew they were saving her life.
The rescuers had to strategize how to put Daisy on the stretcher because it was clearly designed for humans. Thankfully, they managed to place the pup on the stretcher with ease and started their way down the mountain.
Daisy probably felt like a princess with all the people carrying her around the platform she was on. Photos of the rescue team’s efforts show a procession-like rescue, earning the admiration of people on social media.
Thanks to the rescuers’ valiant act, Daisy was saved and is reunited in the arms of her family. Hopefully, Daisy doesn’t find herself in a similar situation in the future!
