Always thought your dog was a good boy? Then you’ve probably never met Kursha. While most dogs are taught to do tricks, some are just naturally smart enough to do things their way, without a human having to teach them. The beautiful dog in the featured video is a perfect example.
Kursha is a stray dog in the area of Batumi, Georgia. Just like any other dog, he is playful, excitable, and more noticeably friendly. Though he is a stray, he looks healthy, clean, and well taken care of, probably by the grateful people in the neighborhood. During a busy day in Batumi, however, Kursha transforms into a street hero, especially with kids!
As it turns out, Kursha has become the local crossing-guard as he took it upon himself to lead children safely across the street. In the following video, Kursha excitedly runs across the street, barking at cars to make sure they do not cross while the children are on the sidewalk, ready to pass the cross-walk.
As Kursha is sure that the cars have stopped, he then returns to the children, prodding them to cross as he leads the way. He carefully stays by their side as they walk across the street, barking at vehicles that run across the street to warn them of the children’s presence.
The children are slow. They walk in a line, holding the child in front as an adult is leading them. But Kursha is patient enough to stay with them, constantly checking on the street and then going back to them, making sure that they are safe. He proudly walks with the children, tail wagging and all, until they safely reach the other side of the street. How cute is that? If that doesn’t define what dog was a good boy, then we don’t know what does.
