How would you like to sip a latte and eat cake while having a dozen of corgis playing around you? It would be a heaven of cuteness! And a café in Bangkok, Thailand will give you just that.
Corgis in the garden
According to the café owner, Tanchanok Kanawaong, she always loved dogs. She had ten huskies and retrievers in the past, but as the dogs passed one by one, she sought a breed that’s almost similar in character, but smaller in size. The corgis were the perfect fit.
Tanchanok got one corgi after another, and before she knew it, she has five of them. Some of the corgis had litters, so her “kids” just sort of multiplied over time. She was overjoyed about having a dozen of corgis running and playing around that she wanted to share the same happiness to others.
So, the idea of Corgi In The Garden was born. The café is home to 12 corgis who will greet you by the entrance, play with you and even do some simple tricks. Tourists and locals alike flock the café to experience this one-of-a-kind encounter with the adorable pooches.
The stars of the café
Salmon, Babycorn, Porkchop, and Pumpkin, among the other corgis, became the café’s main attraction. Customers can play with them, feed them with treats, and even do simple tricks like a “paw-shake.”
While it may seem like the corgis are hard at work being celebrities at the café, the owner makes sure that they’re happy and healthy. They run and play in the garden at least thrice a day, they have enough time to nap, and they’re professionally trained using positive methods.
They’re also let into the café and interact with the customers for an hour, so they don’t get worn out and exhausted. There’s always a one-hour gap in between sessions so the pups would have enough time to rest and recharge before their next session.
If the customers are having a grand time playing with these furry fellas, the corgis are enjoying the attention as well. So, if you ever find yourself going to Bangkok, make sure to give the café a visit and see for yourself how adorable it is to surrounded by these cute corgis.
Thanks to Corgi In The Garden.
