A dog’s loyalty is undeniably strong. Sometimes such devotion can go beyond the expected, as seen in popular movies like “Hachi.” There are situations when dogs will wait for owners or companions who have can no longer return. This is one of those stories.
Posun is a dog who comes to a single location every day. She is waiting for her partner Tol. However, the dog doesn’t know that Tol will never be coming back to that place again.
Tol passed away, and his owner has no way of informing Posun the sad news. Tol’s owner often saw Posun and his dog hang out together every day. The two dogs also slept together.
People who saw the dogs say that Posun and Tol are like a married couple. It’s been two months since the passing, and Posun is still waiting. All she can do is go back to Tol’s dog house and smell his scent.
Posun’s owners are worried about their dog. She is pregnant, so too much walking around could be detrimental to her health. Despite the owners trying to get her back home, Posun remains and waits at the area where Tol used to be.
Posun’s owners took her to the vet to get an x-ray. The results showed that she was carrying four puppies. From that point forward, she needs to get more nutrients, and she needs extra care.
The owners agreed to place Posun inside Tol’s dog house in the meantime. That’s the place where she is the most comfortable staying. The owners added cushions and pillows so Posun can have a comfortable delivery.
If Tol were alive, he might have been happy to see how well Posun is doing. The owners are very caring and doing their best. Once the puppies are born, Posun will have young pups that remind her of the late Tol.
