This Funny Golden Retriever Wouldn’t Let His Human Brother Leave For School

This Funny Golden Retriever Wouldn’t Let His Human Brother Leave For School

Bridget Kimpton October 12, 2021

Children who had pet dogs growing up are extremely lucky. These puppers were not only their guardians, but they were also their best buds. You can expect that kids and their pet pups will pretty much be doing everything together. But as all dog owners know, there are some limitations to that.

For example, we can’t take our pups everywhere. So there are times that they have to be left at home, and it’s no secret that our doggos hate it when this happens. Most of the time, they just sit in a corner while waiting for us to come back home. But in the case of Huxley the Golden Retriever, he took matters into his own paws.

This adorable two-year-old pooch has bonded with his human brother, Maxx Moss. The two are virtually inseparable, and whatever Maxx was doing, the pooch was always right beside him. However, every time the boy had to go to school, the pupper obviously had to stay at home.

But one day, Huxley tried to stop Maxx from leaving, and he has been doing this ever since! The boy’s mom, Ursula Aitchison, shared that their Golden Retriever doesn’t behave this way whenever they go to the park or when they just step outside for some fresh air.

But when the pupper sees Maxx heading outside wearing his school uniform, Huxley would always try to stop his favorite human from leaving. We must admit, it’s one of the most adorable things we’ve ever seen. But not just because Huxley is being silly, but because his behavior speaks volumes regarding how much he loves Maxx.

The pup knows that whenever his favorite human puts on that school uniform, he will be gone the whole day. So Huxley holds on to his leg every time. Silly doggo! See Huxley’s hilarious antics in the clip below.
