Being a handyman is challenging. It can be physically demanding and stressful. On the upside, though, they get to meet new friends. And sometimes, these pals come in the form of happy dogs.
A video of working handymen became viral after it showed a pit bull playfully distracting one of them. In the end, the dog received an adorable response from the handyman.
The dog just wants to play
The said video, which was shared on TikTok, initially showed two handymen working on the house flooring. Then, a jolly pit bull named Maui approached one of the workers. The pup was obviously excited to play with him.
The pit bull and the handyman did a cute little dance. They wobbled back and forth together. Maui was even wagging his tail out of joy.
Halfway through the clip, the dance turned into a game of tug of war. The two had a playful fight over a stuffed bone. What made this funnier was that the handyman used his mouth to pull the toy from Maui.
In the end, the handyman won the game. He even raised his arms in triumph.
It just proves that dogs are not selective when it comes to people they want to play with.
The TikTok community’s reaction to the wholesome video
The handyman and pit bull’s video was a massive hit among TikTok users. Currently, it has more than eight million views. It also has 1.4 million likes and over 14K comments.
One commenter said that dogs could tell when someone had good vibes. With that, Maui probably sensed that the handyman was down for some fun.
Another TikTok user hinted that the handyman could become Maui’s sitter. This will definitely be an advantage since Maui’s owner can enjoy two services from one person: fixing things at home and looking after the dog.
