No matter their size, dogs are the best guardians. They will literally put their lives on the line for their family, whatever the danger. That is why most homeowners choose to live with a dog — not just as a part of their family, but as their guardian as well.
Their selflessness can be seen in a video that has been making rounds on the internet. The video has been captured by a homeowner’s security camera. The incident, which happened in Townsville, Australia, was that of a potential break-in.
In the video, the camera’s motion sensor detects the movement of two suspicious men in the home’s vicinity. When the sensor triggers the camera, the lights also went on.
Two men came into full view of the camera, with one of them unsuccessfully covering his face with his shirt as he passed by the camera’s view. The accomplice can be seen opening the front door.
Little did they know, a brave little soul was guarding the house and its occupants. Right after the men disappear from the camera’s view and into the house, the barks of an angry dog can be heard.
It wasn’t a loud bark; it was a tiny bark that we can only tell, comes from a tiny breed of dog. But the pooch’s size didn’t deter it from going after the would-be burglars. In fact, the tiny dog scrambles after the intruders as they rushed outside the house with nothing but the shirts on their back.
The brave pooch goes after them through the driveway, where the dog made sure they were no longer in sight. An old lady comes into view as she asks her dog what was going on.
