Ariana was driving on her way home when she saw a stray black dog walking along the side of the road. She tried to pull over, but the pup immediately ran towards the nearby forest to hide.
Ariana and her husband drove to the same place where she spotted the dog the following morning and parked their car in hopes of seeing the pup again. Ariana tried searching for the puppy when she saw the pooch looking at them from a safe distance.
Ariana recalled how wary the dog was of her and her husband, so she coaxed her to come to them with some doggy treats. Ariana shared that the pup must have been hungry because the pup approached them without hesitation so that she could munch on the mouthwatering snacks they had.
Ariana wanted to grab the dog and bring her to safety, but she let the pup be because she did not have any collar around her neck that she could hold onto. The dog eventually got used to Ariana and her husband’s presence after being brought meals for three straight months, but the puppy was still hesitant to be touched.
Ariana recalled that she and her husband went out for a hike, and the pup even walked with them the entire time. Ariana wanted to speed up the rescue mission, so she and her husband prepared a large trap to catch the dog.
Ariana prepared the stray dog’s favorite hamburgers and placed them in the farthest part of the cage. The pup eventually got caught in the trap and could not stop barking and shaking in fear.
Ariana contacted animal control for assistance, and they managed to pick the dog up without any problems. Ariana and her husband knew they already had four dogs at home, but the couple still decided to adopt her for good because of how attached they have grown to her.
